I’m Deja Ariel Tribue — licensed Facialist, business owner, mom and now, beauty writer. I’ve been obsessed with beauty for over a decade, long before I had the language for it. What started with Teen Vogue spreads, drugstore cleansers, and the shea-butter rituals + black soap combo passed down grew into a genuine love for skin, ingredients, and the way a routine can change how you feel about yourself, thus, how you show up in the world.

New York shaped me — especially my time at Deciem. It’s where I learned how powerful skincare could be when science, curiosity, and intention meet. It’s also where I realized: this is my lane. I’m here to teach, to guide, to simplify, and to encourage people to ritualize caring for their skin.

Today, I’m an esthetician with 975+ hours of training and a lifelong commitment to learning. Dejaariel.com is the space I’ve dreamed of building — a place where my love for writing and my work in aesthetics finally come together.
